Ms. Sue Sakaki, founder of EnviroSystems Group and the Sustainable Earth Initiative, will present an overview of the "Green Credentials and Certifications" available now, providing business owners and managers tips on selecting the appropriate strategies to select the right credential or certification for their business.

Ms. Sakaki brings a very extensive resume to this presentation.  Since 2004, when she co-founded the the nonprofit Sustainable Earth Initiative, she has focused her efforts on sustainability and environmental management systems (ISO 14001 EMS) development.  She has been working with federal and state agencies, cities and utilities in the development of these Environmental Management Systems.  Ms. Sakaki also founded EnviroSystems Group and has assisted public and private sector organizations on regulatory compliance and pollution prevention.  Her clients include Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Alameda County Green Business Program, and Pacific Gas & Electric. She began her environmental career in 1975, working for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
